Math Roots Terms of Service

1. Services Provided

Math Roots provides ongoing, small-group virtual math tutoring. Each group consists of up to 4 students who meet with a live instructor for one 60-minute session per week via video conferencing.

2. Enrollment and Payment

• Monthly Fee: The tutoring service costs $200 per month, billed as a recurring monthly subscription, or $500 as a one time payment.
• Payment Method: Payment is processed automatically via the credit or debit card you provide at enrollment.
• Billing Cycle: Your card will be charged on the same date each month as your initial enrollment. You will receive a payment reminder 3 days before each charge.

3. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your access to tutoring will continue through the end of your current paid billing period. No partial refunds will be issued for unused portions of a billing cycle.

4. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of our small-group format, we do not offer refunds for services already rendered. If you cancel mid-month, you are entitled to attend all remaining sessions within that paid period.

5. Attendance and Absences

Attendance is the responsibility of the enrolled family. We do not offer refunds, credits, or make-up sessions for individual student absences. This policy ensures the sustainability of our small-group model.

6. Session Recording

All tutoring sessions are recorded (video, audio, and chat). By enrolling, you acknowledge that these recordings will be made. The use of these recordings is governed by our Privacy Policy and the separate Media & Data Consent Form, which you must agree to as part of the enrollment process.

7. Code of Conduct

We expect all participants to treat instructors and fellow students with respect. Math Roots reserves the right to remove any student whose behavior is disruptive or inappropriate, without refund.

8. Limitation of Liability

Math Roots provides educational tutoring services on an "as-is" basis. We make no guarantees regarding specific academic outcomes, test scores, or grade improvements. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the current billing period.

9. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes via email. Your continued use of the service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.
